Toponyms


Toponyms, or geographical names, are used by us all every day - to describe our surroundings and to tell others where we have been or where we plan to go. When we use maps we expect the names to help us identify features of the landscape, and perhaps even to throw light on the local history of an area.

The following lists were compiled from official governments sites and includes all geographical names that contains the word "Labelle".

List of all toponyms order by names. Click on a specific toponym to obtain details about the entity.
 
- Statistics
List the number of toponyms, order by type and by country. Note that the statistics for Canada were splitted into 2 regions: Québec and the rest of Canada (ROC).
